Elizabeth oversees day-to-day operations for WellAge Senior Living communities, assisting with aspects of financial management, sales and marketing development and project management. She has held several roles at senior living communities, including business office director, assisted living director and executive director. She has also consulted on senior living projects and opened new communities in Denver. Elizabeth is a certified Montessori Dementia Professional with additional certifications in CPI Dementia Capable Care and the Eden Alternative. She holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Wisconsin Stout and is completing her master’s in healthcare administration at Metro State University. A resident of Littleton, Colorado, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband John and their two dogs, going to baseball games, camping, fishing and gardening.

Business Office and Human Resources Manager Jennifer McClanahan works every day to support all staff meet and exceed Jackson Creek’s vision of wellness-centered senior living. She helps our new employees feel welcome and works closely with residents and their families to understand all the financial aspects of senior living. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management. Caregiving is rewarding for Jennifer, who especially enjoys working with seniors in Jackson Creek’s Memory Care Neighborhood. In her free time, she has her hands full raising six children with her husband in Colorado Springs. Together they enjoy all Colorado’s great outdoors – fishing, camping, and 4-wheeling.

For Laura, offering advice and support to families and their loved ones as they search for the perfect community to call home is the highlight of her day. An original member of our Jackson Creek team, Laura loves seeing residents build new friendships and receive the quality care they need, and nothing means more to her than hearing a resident say “I wish I’d made this move sooner.” Laura started her career in senior care nine years ago as a skilled nursing concierge and later becoming an interim community liaison. Here at Jackson Creek Senior Living, Laura joined the team as a move-in coordinator, transitioned into the sales associate role and now as a result of her dedication and hard work has agreed to serve as Director of Sales & Marketing. A Colorado resident since 2006, Laura loves spending time with her husband and three children, camping, hiking, shopping and traveling.
LAURA HALE Director of Sales and Marketing

As Health and Wellness Director, Andy is responsible for overseeing residents in our assisted living and memory support communities, ensuring team members deliver the quality care they need to live well and age well. He brings a decade of experience as an army nurse in a combat support hospital and eight years in geriatrics to his role at Jackson Creek. A licensed practical nurse, Andy previously worked in the fields of home health, hospice, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, memory support, and nursing management. He is enthusiastic about supporting the health and wellbeing of his residents and delights in hearing their life stories. Outside work, you can find Andy enjoying athletics and outdoor activities, dancing and spending time with his kids.

Melinda Sukle Life Enrichment Director

Ashley manages the memory care community’s day-to-day operations to create an overall happy environment for the residents and her team while overseeing their safety and satisfaction. She has 15 years’ of managerial experience, and is the former Resident Program Manager of an independent living community in Colorado Springs. In addition to being a Certified Dementia Practitioner, her education and other certifications include a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, an associate of science in phlebotomy and medical billing and coding, an Assisted Living Director’s licensure and she is a member of the Colorado Gerontology Society. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she has called Colorado home for the past 15 years. Ashley has a daughter and loves doing arts and crafts, especially painting, pottery and flower arranging.

An award-winning executive chef certified by the American Culinary Federation, Chef Michael brings over 25 years of culinary experience to the Jackson Creek community. Previous food-related ventures include owning and operating Nana Longo’s Italian Market and Restaurant and working at esteemed venues such as The Broadmoor Hotel and the Glen Eyrie Conference Center. He has also authored two cookbooks — Let’s Take a Leek: A Book about a Chef, Fabulous Soups and a Slightly Different Sense of Humor and The St. Josephs Table: A Sicilian Tradition — and judged professional and amateur culinary competitions throughout the Front Range. When not working, you will likely find him enjoying time with his wife of 39 years, Pam, and their two sons and three grandchildren. Michael is also an avid fisherman, rod-builder and fly-tier. “I am most fortunate to be a part of this great team that is committed and focused on excellence while serving these seniors daily.”
MICHAEL LONGO Director of Culinary Services

Marcus brings more than 30 years of experience in building maintenance and property management to his role at Jackson Creek, where his problem-solving skills make him an important asset to the team. He oversees the day-to-day maintenance operations and reliability of all building systems and ensures safety for residents and team members. Marcus received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Colorado State University and moved to Colorado Springs in 1991. He enjoys working on home projects and helping friends, family, and neighbors with their projects.

Jane will ensure new residents and their families have an enjoyable experience transiting into the community. She realizes that establishing a new home takes time and energy and looks forward to coordinating with her team to help new residents settle in by supporting them throughout all aspects of the move. Jane loves building relationships and serving people and says the best thing about her job is helping people thrive. She joined the Jackson Creek team in 2021 as a Life Enrichment Associate and Concierge after 28 years as a teacher with a Master’s of Education and Bachelor of Science degree in history. She has lived in Colorado since 1983 and is the proud mom of two. Jane treasures spending time with her grandchildren and enjoys creating crafts, decorating, outdoor activities, and reading.
