MONUMENT — Jackson Creek Senior Living today announced it will participate in Colorado Springs’ 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m., and is the proud sponsor of this year’s photo booth.

The annual event will take place at Memorial Park at Prospect Lake, 1605 E. Pikes Peak Ave., and all funds raised will further the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Jackson Creek Senior Living welcomes the Tri-Lakes Cruisers Car Club for a classic car show. Guests of all ages are invited to rev up their engines and head over to Jackson Creek, where more than a dozen classic cars will be on-site for viewing. Guests are kindly asked to park on the north side of the community.

Scheuer’s educational presentation will offer valuable tips and tools that will help you better understand your loved one living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, improve communication, and reduce conflict and stress.

For over 18 years, Scheuer has been a community educator for Leaders in Dementia Care and on the Speaker’s Bureau for the Alzheimer’s Association. She brings real-world experience to her teaching and believes in engaging with her students in memorable and meaningful ways.
