An update from our President

Dear Jackson Creek residents and families,
Thank you for taking the time to join our March 18th phone conference that was held at 6:00 p.m. Our goal was to provide you with vital information and detail our precautionary measures, infection control protocol and our continued focus on the health and well-being of your loved ones and our team members.
For those that could not join, we are providing meeting minutes via email and hard copy. If you have not received a copy, please reach out to the Jackson Creek team and they will provide to you.
During this time Jackson Creek will be hosting bi-weekly calls on Thursday evenings until the COVID-19 concern have lessened.
The following dates thru April are scheduled:

- April 30th at 5:00 p.m.

As you all know, this is a complicated and evolving situation. We are hoping for the best, but we need to prepare for all outcomes.
WellAge will continue to follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), WellAge Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Gregory Gahm, M.D. and Chief Clinical Officer, Cynthia Coenen, RN.
Dr. Gahm and Ms. Coenen have been instrumental in keeping WellAge leadership informed regarding best practices for combatting COVID-19 and implementing heightened Infection Control. We are grateful for their insight, direction and dedication in guiding our team members. These resources keep us informed daily with the facts enabling WellAge to be pro-active and nimble.
Our promise is to ensure that you know we are committed to doing everything possible to make sure the situation results in the best possible outcome for everyone. We appreciate your help and cooperation.
We will communicate often via LifeLoop, email, calls, on our website, thru social media and direct contact from Dena Mackey, Executive Director and our Jackson Creek team members. Dena and the team is able, accessible and available to you and our residents. Dena is also talking daily with WellAge leadership.
I want to thank you for your questions and more importantly for your praise of our Jackson Creek team and leadership. The team is outstanding and they have worked tirelessly providing the highest quality care possible for our residents. Thank you!

A letter from our President on COVID-19

Dear Residents, Families and Staff:
We wanted to provide an update to all of you regarding the revised guidance for Infection Control and Prevention of COVID-19/Coronavirus. As you may be aware, Governor Polis has declared a state of emergency related to 15 cases of the virus.
Residents’ and staff health and safety remains our top priority. Our goal continues to be to keep the virus out. We are in close contact with our local and state health departments, as well as the CDC, to stay up to date on the information to prevent and manage the spread of Coronavirus. We rely on local, state, and federal resources to help prevent the spread of the virus and we appreciate everything they are doing at this time. We have reviewed our infection control plans and our emergency communication. We have reinforced to our staff that anyone that is sick should stay home. We are following the same infection prevention procedures used for the flu season: handwashing, using alcohol based hand sanitizers, covering coughs, and disinfecting.
We are asking at this time, all non essential visitors, including family members, contractors and volunteers, to avoid visiting our communities for the time being. We will allow for limited visitation in the event of situations such as end of life. We will be assisting with communication alternatives by using calling, texting, FaceTime, Skype or checking in on other social media. We ask that you have given us the most current emergency contact information, so we can keep you informed of any new developments. We will also be posting updates on communities’ Facebook pages.
I know these are challenging times for everyone, we appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.
